# Project Direction The XscapeNFT project was founded in November 2021, based on the vision of the Xscape universe created by [Daniel](https://xscapenft.gitbook.io/xscapenft-whitepaper-v2/the-project/the-team), with years of thought and planning behind it. Our core and most long-term direction for the XscapeNFT project is to develop a game that contains blockchain-based XRPL NFT integration. This is something that we are taking our time with, as we do not want to cut any corners, and we are focused on creating an in-depth gaming experience not yet seen in the blockchain space.
