# Gameplay Options

For the game portion of Xscape, we want to create an experience that is as accessible as possible to a wide variety of people. To do this, there will be two different versions of the game, one with blockchain integration, featuring on platforms such as Epic Games/ForgeX, and a non-blockchain integrated version that will feature on platforms like Steam. The versions will be interoperable and players will be able to play together without friction. The blockchain-side of Legacy will provide a stronger connection to the world of Xscape for players, as NFTs will be used to verify the digital ownership of certain items/skins within the game and also provide interoperability within other XRPL project ecosystems. We believe that by providing players with the option to participate in the blockchain-side of the game if they want to or not, significantly expands the potential target market, and will allow Legacy to become a platform that introduces many people to blockchain or NFTs for the first time.
